What are some of the causes of weather phenomenons?

  1. All weather phenomenons are powered by the sun, water, and air. These phenomenons can happen because of hot and cold air colliding or possibly even changes in water or air currents.
A change in air currents can produce " downwind" which is where the wind blows downwards and can create alot of dangers for airplanes and anything else flying in the air. Many airplane crashes have actually been reported due to these sudden changes in air pressure.
Changes in water currents can make water spouts. Water spouts can effect the surrounding ecosystem abundantly by flooding the region where the spout took place. Normally, water spouts aren't dangerous to people unless you are in the water (water spouts can't travel on ground).
There are many other causes of weather phenomenons, but these are the few main ones.

  2. I was thinking that the "El Nino" is a weather phenomenon because it is powered by the sun, water, and air. I looked it up on the internet so and it fit with all the things you said about the wind, water, sun, air currents and everything.
